by Frank Martin
As dominant as Oklahoma Sooners has been in the Big 12 Conference in recent years, the Sooners haven't often had the occasion to seek revenge. But that will be the case when top-ranked Oklahoma hosts Missouri.
The Missouri Tigers snapped a seven-game losing streak against the Sooners with a 36-27 victory last year to knock Oklahoma from the top spot in the BCS rankings. Oklahoma has won 37 straight at home and is 72-2 there under Bob Stoops.

The Sooners have opened as 19-point favorites on Bet Online Sportsbook’s Live NCAA Football Odds.
Missouri Tigers (2-1): The Missouri Tigers are coming off a record-breaking performance, albeit against FCS Western Illinois. Missouri racked up a school-record 744 total yards and tied the school scoring record in a 69-0 victory. Sophomore running back Henry Josey led the offensive charge with 263 rushing yards - the fourth-highest total in school history - all in the first half. The defense was nearly as impressive, holding the Leathernecks to 44 total yards - the third-lowest total in school history - and allowing only one first down. Missouri's defense is expected to get a boost from the return of defensive lineman Jacquies Smith, who has missed the past two games with a dislocated elbow.
Oklahoma Sooners (2-0): The Oklahoma Sooners survived their first big test last week with a 23-13 victory at No. 5 Florida State. The game was tied at 13 in the fourth quarter, but quarterback Landry Jones hit Kenny Stills for a 37-yard touchdown pass to give the Sooners the lead for good. Oklahoma's defense was dominant in Tallahassee, holding the Seminoles to 27 rushing yards on 26 attempts. The Sooners also forced three turnovers and had six sacks. Oklahoma should be at full strength. Linebacker Travis Lewis is listed as questionable with a toe injury, but played against Florida State with the same injury.
1. Oklahoma leads the series 66-24-5 and has not lost to Missouri in Norman since 1966, a streak of 17 games.
2. With six runs of 20 yards or more, Josey was tied for the most in the nation through Saturday. Those six runs have come among only 29 carries.
3. With 199 yards on 18-of-27 passing against Florida State, Jones surpassed Sam Bradford as Oklahoma's career leader for passing yards with 8,490.
NCAA PREDICTION: Oklahoma 33, Missouri 20 - Jones and Oklahoma's bevy of talented receivers will expose Missouri's secondary, and the Tigers' offense hasn't shown it can keep up against a quality defense.
